The Abacus

Our friend, Joyce, brought in her husband's old abacus.
His parents gave it to him when he was 5 years old.
We got to count with it, touch it,
look at it and write a description of it.
This is an abacus. This abacus looks like a box. It is old and is brown and blue and made of wood.

  2. Your very clever room 3. Some teachers back in the old days taught many children how to count with an abacus, since their was no technology back then they had to use these for their maths. Did you use this to make out some math questions?
